M s de 1 mill¢n 500 mil peruanos se encuentran en esta condici¢n.
Existe una diferenciaci¢n en la proporci¢n de analfabetos seg£n nivel de
pobreza. La tasa de analfabetismo de los pobres extremos es de 22.0 % y
en los no pobres 7.3%.
