2.3.2 De las Unidades Agropecuarias.
Las caracter¡sticas de la tenencia de las unidades agropecuarias
es similar a la que presentan las parcelas, ya que la mayor¡a de las
UA son de una s¢la parcela: El 87,7 % de las UA est n en propiedad de
sus conductores ocupando el 90,6 % del rea total.
En la provincia de Tumbes, el 85,8 % est n en propiedad del con-
ductor de la UA con el 83,9 % de la superficie. En Contralmirante
Villar, el 83,4 % con 96,0 %; y en Zarumilla, el 96,6 % con 97,7 % del
rea agropecuaria. Los porcentajes en los otros tipos de tenencia son
bastantes reducidos.

Por estratos, la propiedad de las unidades agropecuarias tienen
las mismas caracter¡sticas mencionadas. En el de menos de 3,0 Has., el
87,3 % est n en propiedad del conductor de la UA con 88,4 % de la
superficie; en los dos estratos siguientes, los porcentajes son 89,6 %
y 90,1 % para el segundo y 81,9 % de las UA con 81,9 % de la superfi-
cie para el tercero; y en el £ltimo estrato, 93,1 % de las UA con
98,8 % de la superficie.
